This valentines season, I transformed my loft into a sultry oasis, inviting friends and neighbors to drop in throughout the evening. The open house format created a steady flow of conversation, connection, and creativity without the pressure of a fixed time.

At the center of the space, a large table anchored the evening. Dozens of flowers layered with lush greenery formed an abundant focal point, surrounded by a curated collection of empty vases gathered over several months. Guests selected a vessel they loved and designed their own floral arrangement to take home. The experience fostered creativity while keeping the atmosphere social and interactive, as guests worked side by side and exchanged ideas.

The apartment layout was thoughtfully reimagined to encourage movement and connection. Each area was intentionally planned and sketched in advance, including a flower bar, lounge area, dining space, buffet island, and drink station. Existing furniture and décor was rearranged and repurposed to suit the event, balancing atmosphere with functionality while maintaining a resourceful approach to design.
I managed the full scope of the event, from planning and design to sourcing, purchasing, transportation, setup, and breakdown.
